The children in Ms. Gallagher’s Room had a wonderful Teddy Bears’ Picnic last week. They brought in their favourite furry friends and got to tell the class a little about each one. What a lovely day! 🧺🐻

The boys and girls in Ms. Gallagher’s Room have been busy making bird feeders from Cheerios! They are nutritious and delicious treats for our feathered friends! 🌳

Well done to our Boys’ Hurling Team, who were successful at the annual St. Brigid’s College Blitz, winning the C Shield! 🏑 Thank you to Mr. Kelly and Seán Walsh for helping the boys on the day and to all the parents who provided lifts. Ms. Murray’s Room is gearing up for Autumn with a wonderful Autumn wall! 🍁🍃 The classroom is looking fantastic and the children have been learning all about this colourful time of year. 🌳 Tá cúpla focal foghlamtha ag na páistí as Gaeilge 🇮🇪 and they have also been doing great group work and paired work based on the topic. 👥📚 The children have also been learning about the hedgehog 🦔. Morning Hurling has returned to Kilrickle National School! 🎉 Every school morning, boys and girls from 1st Class upwards are invited to enjoy 20 minutes of hurling and camogie before the school day begins. 🏑🥅 It is a great way for the children to practise and develop their hurling and camogie skills, while also getting active and having fun with their friends! 💪😊 It has been brilliant to see so many boys and girls taking part each morning. We had a beautiful Graduation Day on Tuesday, celebrating in the glorious morning sunshine. 🌞 A huge congratulations to our sixth class pupils as they take the next exciting step on their educational journey and move on to secondary school.
