🐛 Wonderful Wormeries! 🐛

Mr. Gibbons’ class have been busy creating their own wormeries using layers of sand and compost. We are observing how worms burrow through the layers and mix the materials.

We are learning how their tunnels help air and water move through soil, and how worms help break down dead plant material. We even discovered a large mushroom during our investigations!
